Learn about the different buttons on your phone and their functions.

Located on the side of your phone. Press once to wake up or lock your phone. Press and hold to turn on/off your phone.

Located on the side of your phone. Press + to increase volume, - to decrease volume. Also used for taking photos.

Located at the bottom of your phone. Press to return to the home screen. On newer phones, this may be a gesture instead of a physical button.

Press and hold the power button to access emergency features and phone settings.
Use volume buttons to adjust ringtone, media, and alarm volume separately.
On newer phones, swipe up from the bottom to go home or back.

Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds to force restart your phone.

Check if your phone is in silent mode by pressing the volume buttons and looking for the silent mode indicator.
