Managing Contacts
Learn how to save, edit, and organize your contacts on your smartphone. This guide will help you keep your important phone numbers easily accessible.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Open Contacts App
Find and tap the Contacts app icon on your home screen. It usually looks like a person or address book icon.
Add New Contact
Tap the + or "Add Contact" button. Enter the person's name and phone number. You can also add their photo, email, and other details.
Edit Existing Contact
Find the contact you want to edit, tap on their name, then tap the edit (pencil) icon. Make your changes and save.
Delete Contact
To delete a contact, open their details, tap the menu (three dots) icon, and select "Delete". Confirm the deletion.
Helpful Tips
- Add photos to contacts to easily recognize them when they call
- Use groups to organize contacts by family, friends, or work
- You can search contacts by typing their name in the search bar
- Save important contacts as favorites for quick access
Common Issues and Solutions
Can't Find a Contact
Use the search bar at the top of the contacts app. You can search by name or phone number.
Accidentally Deleted Contact
If you have Google Contacts enabled, you can restore deleted contacts from your Google account.
Contacts Not Syncing
Check your internet connection and make sure you're signed in to your Google account on your phone.
